We are touched that many of you have reached out and expressed concern for the well-being of the Franklin Inn. We're open for business and doing fine. Your well wishes confirm our belief that Franklin Inn customers are truly the best. Our commitment to you and to our community is 41 years strong. We look forward to making you something yummy soon.
We also want to assure you that our focus is on your well-being and that of our employees and their families. Here are some of our practices:
- The Inn has always followed the guidelines and suggestions of our governing agencies. We adhere to the highest cleaning and safety standards as common practice. We've increased the frequency for sanitizing and cleaning surfaces and commonly touched items such as menus, check holders, door handles, chairs, and etc.
- We emphasize and train employees to follow our strict hand washing policies. Employees are required to wash their hands frequently and in addition each time after using the restroom, returning from taking a break, after touching their face or hair, after using a cell phone, and before eating, preparing or handling food.
- We ask employees who don’t feel well to stay home. We also ask that if you don’t feel well to come visit us another day.
- Take out is available if you would rather not be out and want to enjoy Franklin Inn food at home. Simply call us at 412-366-4140 to place your order which you can pick up at our bar.
The Franklin Inn is currently operating with normal business hours. We continue to monitor this ever-changing situation and are following the suggestions and communications with the CDC and health department. I’ll email you if anything changes.
