Happy Black Jack Friday.
While tequila is our main spirit around here, we have to give a shout out to Jack Daniel's today on what I'm told is the second most popular Black Friday of the year. Yes, we do have JD at the bar and if you'd like to raise a toast of this do-gooder whiskey at our bar tonight in honor of our service people - especially one of our favorites, Eric - we wouldn't mind. It's a great cause.
Since 2011, Jack Daniel's and the Armed Services YMCA Operation Ride Home program has helped to bring over 8k military families together. They have raised more than $2 million for the life of the program to assist junior-enlisted service members and those with families travel from their military bases to homes around the country. Their mission is to raise as much money as possible to assist these heroes with getting home.
