Happy Veteran's Day!
Thank you to all those who have served and are serving. Many of our Franklin Inn Staff and family of staff have served and are currently serving. Both John and my fathers and grandfathers were veterans. And, we know many of you and your family's are serving or have also served. Thank you. Show your server your veteran's card or military Id for a discount tonight (11/11/25).
We are showing our gratitude this Thanksgiving Season by teaming up with Heritage Church to collect items needed by the Veteran's Place. Here at the Franklin Inn we are collecting: New Winter hats, scarves and gloves in both men and women sizes.
There is a more comprehensive list of needs that you can take to Heritage Church (down the street from us) or directly to the Veteran's Place. But, since we don't have much space here at the Inn, we are only collecting these smaller items.
If you drop these items off (new and unused only - hats, gloves, scarves) with us at the Inn between now and end of November, we will add points to your account for helping us to bless at-risk veterans. Just give your server or host your name, email and phone number you use for your points. They will get the information to me so that I can add spots (aka points toward rewards) to your Inn Crowd membership with us.
Another organization for our troops that we are partial to is Boucek's Battalion. Looks like they still need cookie bakers. You can check out their website for details on getting cookies to the troops for Christmas.
