Update: This event was so much fun. Thank you to all who made it a success. See photos from the workshop here.
Tequila has won over the hearts of Americans. It is one of the fastest growing spirits and the United States is the biggest buyer according to the Distilled Spirits Council of the United States. Sales have gone up 158-percent since 2002. Americans now buy more tequila than Scotch and Irish Whiskey combined.
Join us at the Franklin Inn and learn why we all love tequila so much at this interactive workshop on Sunday, October 27 from 1pm to 4ish.
Become a craft bartender for the afternoon with guided lessons on how to make artisan tequila cocktails featuring Bribon Tequila.
First, take a sip through the three main tequila expressions: Plata, Reposado and Anejo featuring Riazul Tequila.
Then, roll up your sleeves! You will learn hands-on how to prepare three hand-crafted (by you!) Tequila Cocktails:
- Cucumber Jalapeno Amante Picante featuring Bribon Blanco
- Ginger Mint Paloma featuring Bribon Reposado
- Spiced Honey Orange Margarita featuring Bribon Anejo
This workshop will be led by Elizabeth Dames, WSET III and Michael Busillo, CSW, WSET III, Brand Ambassadors for Tequila Bribon and Riazul Tequila and representatives of Lauber Fine Wine & Craft Spirits. Elizabeth is a Sommelier and spirits consultant with a background in personal, country club and corporate beverage management. Michael is the Sales Manager of Lauber.
